Strong rare earth disk magnets.

These magnets could be used where a small size and maximum power are needed. Neodymium magnets exert very high forces and can attract each other through unbelievably large distances. Please be careful – these magnets are brittle and can easily shatter if allowed to fly to each other.

10 mm x 3 mm magnets are used in kits #12 and #14. They could be used in other motor kits described on our site but may require adjustment of the distances between the rotor, sensor and electromagnet.
