Digital laser tool for easy RPM measurement

The simplest RPM measurement tool for quick and accurate motor speed measurements!

It includes a digital photo tachometer, 3 special reflective strips (about 24” in total length) and an instruction manual.

Just place a small piece of reflective tape on the rotating part and point the laser beam (see pictures).

Works on all brushless motors (kits #1-14). May also be used on conventional motors (kits #15-17 or any other design with rotating coil), however reflective material may slow down motor speed.

Note that if you plan to conduct other electrical measurements in your project (voltage, current, etc.) you might consider RPM Measurement Kits #1 or #2 instead.

Requires one standard 9 Volts battery (not included).

Note:	On kits #1-10 the reflective strip may be placed on the cap as shown in the picture. However, under bright sunlight the tachometer may not recognize the difference between the reflective strip and glossy surface of the cap. It should work in a slightly darker room or different tape may be added to the rest of cap's circumference. Rule of thumb: reflective surface must be smaller than non-reflective one but it cannot be too small.
